‘The Search’ – handmade Surf Art
This print awakens summer feelings! The sun on your skin, a sea breeze in your hair and the sound of the waves in your ears – what could be better?
This artwork is dedicated to all water women, those who love waves, surfing, the ocean and an active lifestyle. It is the perfect gift for her – best friend, surf buddy, girlfriend or wife. Inspired by my round trip and especially by all the Ocean Sisters, all the great female surfers and ocean women, I carved this piece of surf art from a traditional lino sheet. I wanted to create a print that would appeal to everyone who loves the ocean as much as I do. I wish it would inspire many souls, wave chasers and surf addicts. It is a simple image of a woman checking the waves, but it conveys so much more: I think only someone who knows the feeling of searching for the perfect wave knows what I am talking about. May this lino print inspire you and speak to you.
